Missfit recreate clothes from recycled materials.

Each ‘ReCreate’ garment is individually hand-made using materials and clothing that would otherwise be thrown away. It is estimated that we throw away approximately 1.5 million tonnes of our clothing per year – most goes straight to landfill. In the fight to minimise the environmental impact created by throwaway fashion, Missfit are striving to reduce the flow of used garments destined for landfill.

By upcycling used clothing, Missfit minimise our environmental footprint whilst reinventing a valuable resource.

We aim to promote the use of recycled fabrics by showcasing the skills of some local designers. By providing them with reclaimed materials sourced in this area we can hopefully nurture raw talent whilst promoting good environmental practice.
