The second of these beautiful shirts found in my latest vintage stock and they are pure quality.
Produced by Keris, a company that developed their technique over 90 years ago building the business from home to the large limited company it is today, still retaining its archipelago culture the the designs.
The busy batik pattern is printed in bronze, black, browns and white on a beige background. The centre piece has a fircone design with birds either side and the surrounding pattern perfectly mirrors on each side of the shirt. This is repeated on the back of the shirt. The pattern matching is perfection and almost completely disguises the two lower front pockets as well as well as the front buttoning placket.
The shirt is tailored to a slim fit and has a 5.3/4" / 14.5cm split either side at the hem. The long sleeves fasten with one button.
