This light polycotton fabric has the most beautiful print, paisley swirls surround delicate floral patterns in shades of green with hints of orange on a white background. A perfect weight for the summer months, the dress bodice is lined in a white organza and the skirt has a full polyester underskirt, the sleeves are left unlined.
The front neckline is a shallow scoop with a pleated centre line over which I've stitched three vintage buttons - the originals were missing. The back has a low scooped neck and fastens with the original zipper in good working order.
The bodice is nicely tailored for a flattering fit and the waistline gathered below which the skirt falls with a soft flare to the ankle. I have found no flaws or stains. This dress is a combination of fabulous fabric and thoughtful tailoring, well made and well kept.
