The print work in this shirt is exquisite! Malaysian batek is a textile art used to decorate fabrics - I have another couple of shirts in this print listed. This however, is labelled Malaysian Batek - the latter being an indigenous Malaysian tribe. I could continue researching the origin of this shirt for some time but will leave you with that info and if you want to dig deeper - Google has it all! What you can be sure of is that this is an original print on a quality shirt, that much can't be ignored.
Buttoning fastened with small opaque buttons that also fasten each cuff, the shirt has a high collar with a forward point. The print has been well pattern matched over the front fastening placket and the front left chest pocket is also nicely disguised. The shirt bottom has a 6" / 15.5cm split at either side and is a nice long length.
