This was originally a 1970s maxi dress. It had white cotton detail on the sleeve and front which had been damaged through time and so had to go to rework. After taking it apart I saw the possibility of harem pants and this is the result.
The waist is a comfort fit with slight elasticity. The tie belt is for show. There are deep pockets either side and a wide three quarter leg. 
As the print is original batik, you will discover some discrepancies in the ink which I've highlighted on two photos - lower legs. The fabric was is very good condition though without marks or stains.
As with most of my reworks, I have made to fit the fabric, using as much of the original garment as possible. The measurements are as follows:
Across waist unstretched 18" / 46cm
Across waist with stretch 20" / 51cm
Inside leg 19.5" / 49.5cm
Outside leg 33.5" / 85cm
Approx size 18 UK
