This gorgeous 1960's jumper could possibly have been worn as a dress - a very short one but just imagine it with some hot pant and knee high boots!
Black with vibrant raised dots in blues, red, yellow and green it has the Courtelle stamp on the label which helps date the St Michael design to the late 1960s. Soft and lightweigh, Courtoulds didn't start producing this fabric until 1967 and the label itself is a '60s style.
The scooped neck edge has a woolen draw string that can be gathered in. The long sleeves widen at the cuff and are elasticated to created a bell effect. As mentioned, the jumper is longer in length, just coming over the hips.
It's suoer soft and in great condition and does not look out of place even 60+ years after it originated.
