Fabulously floaty and so feminine, a 1960s Sherman of London design that has survived the decades so well and still looks beautiful.
Made of a Terylene and cotton mix, the dress requires little pressing. Look at those angel sleeves, trimmed with a narrow beige cotton lace that compliments the wider lace trim on the bodice and neck. The dress fastens at the back with its original zipper in good working order and is fully lined except for the sleeves. There are six decorative white buttons down the centre front bodice and a long tie belt at the back.
Please check measurements as, although sized 12 this is slightly smaller than todays UK 12.
I rarely get a dress of this age in such an excellent condition, especially given the delicate shades it has, a real vintage beauty.
