I genuinely had no idea this was a child's dress - until I saw the label. It says Age 11/12 and so presumably on a child would be full length, long sleeved.
I'd washed, repaired and put on the mannequin before I discovered this!
As it is, the dress is approximately a UK size 8, calf length with three quarter sleeves, and it works!
100% polyester, I normally find knitwear by Canda so this dress is unusual to say the least. The bodice is vibrant yellow with small bronze flowers in clusters printed on. The waist has been gathered with nine rows of shirring elastic and below this sits a neat little peplum frill. The sleeves are full and gathered together with a wide band at the bottom.
The brown skirt has slight gathering and the dress fastens at the back with its original zipper.
Overall a joyful dress, not just for kids ;-)

Underarm 12" / 30.5
Across waist 14" / 36cm
