This gorgeous seventies maxi has possibly been handmade as no labels can be found, if so it's a great job. The tie at the neck edge had come away and so I've restitched this and the round neck fastens with its lengthy tie. The dress is made from a polyester nylon mix and so the colours are still so vibrant and once washed, it requires little ironing. Paneled to give a gentle A line shape, the dress fastens with its original zipper in good working order and a top hook and eye. The sleeves are bell shaped and sheer black with an elasticate cuff. I found a small stain on the flower nearest the neck edge but this is barely noticeable against the bold colours.
