Simple, stylish and yet still a stand-out print. The 1970's rarely disappointed with some popping colour and eye-catching designs.
Made up of two pieces in easy care polyester, the blouse buttons down the front with small blue buttons and the long sleeve fastens at the cuff with two further buttons each side. A sharp pointed collar sets of the top of this blouse with a front yoke that has a small amount of gathering. I've not discovered marks or pulls.
The skirt has no waistband but has attached facing to strengthen the waistline which fastens with an enclosed zipper at the side and is fully lined. The fabric choice means it's an easy wash and wear - I laundered at 30 degrees and after hanging out to dry, it needed no ironing.
There is a faded mark on the right front panel - photographed which isn't immediately noticeable, price reflected. The skirt would once have had a belt as the loops remain - I've not cut them off in case the new owner wishes to add a belt of their own.
Goutille sport was set up in France in the early 70s and wound up in the early 80s, known for these stylish sets, easy to wear and yet with a designer edge.
