I had a difficult choice to make whether to save this 'as is' or put aside to rework into something else. I opted to give it the TLC it deserved and have repaired a rip in the right underarm seam, re-stitched the hem in places as well as the side splits and the neck edge. Where the neck finishes in a V there is a slight puckering but not so it distracts from this original Bambi House design. The blue has faded is places and the inner neck edge hasn't come completely clean so this dress has been priced accordingly.
Dress fastens at the back with it's original zipper and there is a 9" / 23cm split at either side.
It is always a tough decision to decide to take the scissors to a wearable vintage piece, especially when like this it has more wear in it and has kept it's overall appearance. I hope I've been able to work some magic so this beauty can go to a new home where it will be worn again.
