Lovely example of 1960s style married with the newer 1970s fabrics. It looks like a traditional herringbone type waistcoat but has actually been manufactured from that indestructible polyester fabric Crimplene. In a small zig zag pattern you can pick out hues of blue, grey and brown, the lining and back of the waistcoat is navy blue and there is an adjustable belt fastening.
The front fastens with six marbled grey buttons and unusually there are four front pockets.
In great condition this is a stylish, servicable piece of clothing that looks just as good today as it did sixty years ago!
