It's the simplicity of this design that makes it so stylish. The top, a brown ribbed turtle neck has long sleeves that taper to the cuff, there's a slight stretch so that it fits snug to the body. It meets a brown and beige patterned A-line skirt with a wide waistband - the original belt is missing. The zig zag pattern is subtle and the skirt is paneled, there were a few pulls that have been trimmed but nothing to detract from the look of the dress.
The dress fastens at the back with its original zipper and hook and eye at the neck. There is no makers label just the care instructions but it looks handmade so could be from a small boutique.
