I tried this on, it doesn't fit! Rest assured if it did I'd be claiming it, what a beautifully versatile dress.
The busy pattern in shades of purple, blue and red with a hint of green includes floral and paisley style designs that interweave throughout the dress. The slightly muted colours mean this isn't too bold for those who don't want a dress that shouts but it will certainly turn heads - for all the right reasons.
Buttoning down the front from collar to hem (only 5" / 12.5cm opening between the last button and the hem) the button has a front placket which hides the small purple buttons. A further two fasten the cuffs. At some point there would have been a tie belt I'm presuming, it looks like the loops have been cut out. The sleeves are raglan in style and drop from the shoulders with a lovely fullness that is accentuated by a small pleat at the shoulder edge of each sleeve.
The most important feature for many will be the pockets, I mean who doesn't want a dress with pockets - it should be compulsary!
The soft cotton/modal has a good weight and super soft texture which feels warm to the touch, perfect for this time of year.
