This beautiful lace dress has been handmade, probably a commission make as it's expertly done.
The bodice is corseted with boning to the back, front and sides. The corset is lined but then the sheer lace forms sleeves over the shoulder from the front to back which is unlined, reattaching to the scalloped edge of the back bodice. 
The sequined embellishment is shaped in bows and this runs along the top of the bodice scalloped edging.
The skirt is panelled lace in a wide circle and is fully lined. The sequined bows continue down the skirt becoming more elaborate as they reach the hem. A band of netting has been added at the lower hem to add further shape to the fall of the skirt.
The dress fastens with a side zipper in good working order.
Determining the age of this dress was difficult with no label to guide me however, as a dressmaker the tell tale signs are the zipper age and tailoring. This dress hasn't been finished with an overlocker and the tailoring hints to the 1970s possibly earlier.
Whatever age this dress is, the style is timeless and the design exquisite by any measure,
