Is it a coat or is it a jacket that's the question, it seems to sit between the two which adds to the stylish versatility of this lovely vintage piece.
The black woven fabric is quite heavy and the jacket is fully lined. Fastening with it's original buttons which are shiny black on bronze, it appears there may have been a further two on the lower pocket flaps. The top pockets are for show but the lower two are a generous size. Above the top button there is a prestud fastener and
the jacket is topped by a wonderful black faux fur collar.
Nice tailoring detail throughout and double lined top stitching down the front placket, pockets and yoke. The jacket would once have had a belt, I've left the loops in case its new owner decides to add one but they can be easily snipped off.
