This hat was created using offcut denim scraps and a 1960's floral curtain.
It is my job to recover and reuse waste fabrics from the vintage stock I collect. In this case, denim from two separate pairs of jeans was used alongside fabric from a single cotton curtain which still had its metal curtain hoops attached at the top - which will also be reused!
The hat is fully reversible and the brim can be worn down or turned back.

Circumference of inner hat band 24.5" / 62cm
Width of brim 3" / 7.5cm
This is a fully upcycled hat, each fabric piece has been saved from landfill. Missfit is a zero waste business.
