The first thing to notice about this gorgeous green dress is that it's wonderfully warm. There are no fabric details but the weight and feel of the material is brushed nylon, it's also so soft to touch. The shades of green make up a leafy pattern with large flowers and swirls that have hints of black and white as well. There is a black velvet ribbon detail around the waist and on the cuff of both sleeves. The sleeves themselves reach a three quarter length and have a voluminous flounce.
The dress fastens at the back with its original zipper in good working order and the neck has a wide scoop. The hem is nicely tailored and there is shaping at the bust and shoulder.
I've drawn a blank with this particular label but it has an interesting tag line of 'Designed to Slenderize', for the fuller size model. It is obviously well made and has been looked after as no marks or damage.
If you're looking for a warm vintage frock to wear, this beauty can certainly oblige.
